I’ve closed Kodi, uninstalled Exodus and reinstalled, cleared the cache, power cycled the fire stick, and one time I reinstalled Kodi from scratch.
I think the re-install of Kodi then Exodus worked but it lasted maybe a week or 2 and did it again. My issue is within Exodus, I got to MoviesPeople Watching which is my go to area but every time I click to open it the loading circle icon spins for a second, then flashes and spins again and then disappears and never loads the People Watching section. The search feature has been hit or miss too, doing the same thing, all other sections work fine though. Trakt TV not authorising in account on exodus/Kodi I have a Minix box attached to my android TV, which has the latest version of everything on it and everything was working well, including Trakt TV. Then after I watched a show all my lists disappeared. I went into tools on both Exodus & Exodus and tried to re authorise but when I go to accounts and click the Trakt “authorize” button it just flicks back to the account in the tools menu.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything and get the same result. Can you please help? Shows how much you know Michael. No research and knowledge on what’s going on and what awesome stuff is going to happen in the very near future.
As for the comment about supporting Cazwall repos, WATCH his videos for yourself and see for yourself that the comments aren’t spam. He is a cool dude and is looking out for all of us in the mean time with the shut downs. He claims he is just helping the devs and all that by hosting the links so people have one spot to download them until everyone finds their homes again.
Do some research before talking that garbage and hurting the community. So I uninstalled Exodus because everything I was browsing was not working. When searching a movie it would find streams, but when selecting one of them the loading will go down the whole list of available streamers and say “no streams available”. There could be 26 sources streaming and Exodus fails on each one. So I uninstalled Exodus under the notion that I could re-install it.
Read Kat’s response. Yep I got fooled. And tried the c.a.z. There actually aren’t any fixes for this on YouTube, I just used the fusion zip file a week ago and now it’s empty. Yesterday it was also empty but had a note to read ‘stay tuned for an update’ or something like that, but now it’s empty.
I have actually looked on the internet and tons of Kodi help sites and nothing can answer this questions which leads me to believe this is a pretty recent problem. My hope is that it isn’t obsolete in and effort to get everyone to upgrade their android box and get the new 17.3! Update: I was able to finally get Exodus to install.
It may or may not be because I went to scripts and updated or install the urlresolver (don’t remember exactly which one it was under the scripts folder). But after I did that, I was able to go to Exodus Repo- video add-ons- Exodus- install, as listed above in the ‘How to Install Exodus Kodi Add-on Guide’.
(I used to go to ‘Fusion-Begin Here’, but since that didn’t have any files I had to go and install Exodus directly. I am now watching my TV shows! Hi everyone, Hoping I can still install Exodus on Kodi 16.1. I’m moving in a month with someone who already has the newest system, so I’m hoping to keep my older 4.2 Android box until then but I had to do a reset yesterday, and now Exodus is not working. It reset me back to Kodi 14.2 which I removed and installed 16.1 however after following all of the regular steps, fusion can not be downloaded and the old Exodus 2.0 comes up but can not b downloaded or upgraded.

I’ve searched for hours on the internet and not been able to find a solutioncan anyone help with this? Peeps need to start reading forums as 3rd party addons will eventually disappear. As i stated a few posts back Kodi will not be used as a media streamer or a tool get get pirated content, unless its a paid subscription and legal. Torrenting will take off again. Keep an eye out for cheap android boxes as they will be worth next nothing when most,if not all,3rd party addons close in Kodi.(this my opinion only) please read this.
I have installed the new update with no fuss and as per the instructions. However there does appear to be an issue with the library integration which I know everyone was looking forward too.

I’ll explain, I have setup the library content in the same way you would do Specto Fork by accessing the context menu on the Exodus Movie Library and setting its content for movies. I have gone and added some of my fav movies all appeared to be updating as expected but after this process I went to check the library menu within Kodi 17.3 and only the 1st movie I added was showing despite all the movies showing with the library settings in Exodus itself. Is anyone else getting the same issue? I cannot afford to just go get a new phone and have a Samsung galaxy s5 that my husband paid over 850 dollars for and he won’t upgrade me anytime soon as my phone is stillIke brand new. So what happens to people like us who CANT upgrade, v we just don’t get to use kodi anymore? And yesterday I was using and downloading just fine, today my kodi wouldn’t run properly so I did clean install through kodi setup wizard and now can no longer configure exodus???
I am not smart enough to contribute code, and was introduced to this program by my 24 year old son last month when my husband decided he no longer wanted to pay for DVR services and that left me with a lot of downtime but no program to watch. So my son taught me how to use this to watch a few orograns. I was so happy and was considering monetary support 5o the hard working guys but if it is now unusable by me then i am sadly going to 1, still not get to see my favorite TV shiws, and 2, going to have to walk away from this amazing program I have enjoyed for the last month.
What is strange for me, is the only thing that doesn’t work is Game of Thrones, it will work in SALTS, everything else in Exodus works fine, just not GOT. I can’t for the life of me figure out why, I have tried many different DNS servers, I have opened ports on my router, I have reinstalled Exodus first which did not work, then tried reinstalling Kodi, then my entire android OS (wish I just did it the other way around, would have saved me a ton of time lol), still to no avail. I have another android box downstairs and GOT works fine in Exodus on that one. Both boxes have static IPs, are on Ethernet, and are running through my ISP’s DNS.
It makes no logical sense at all, if anyone can shed some light on this I may be able to regain some sanity. Receiving the following after the update: 08:20:31 T:98304 ERROR: CGUIMediaWindow::GetDirectory(plugin://plugin.video.exodus/) failed 08:20:46 T:82240 ERROR: EXCEPTION Thrown (PythonToCppException): –Python callback/script returned the following errorEnd of Python script error report. Could someone please point me in the right direction with this problem? I’m using a DigiXstream DX4 Android Box. I love Exodus but lately, here is what’s happening. I’ll go to a TV show like Big Bang Theory.
I’ll select Season 2 Episode 16 and a about 40+ sources from a bunch of different providers. I’ll watch the episode then afterwards, I’ll only see 3 sources. One in HD and two in SD at which point none of these 3 sources work. Almost as if after watching a show, a script runs that loses the ability to grab working sources. If I then go to another episode, I only see one source. I’ve tried everything from turning off the device to completely resetting the unit. When resetting the unit and performing a factory reset, everything works, I get a ton of sources but then they all disappear.
Is anyone else experiencing this and more importantly, does anyone know of a fix? I’m running the latest version of the Exodus addon (1.3) and URLResolver 3.0. Is the trick now to sign up for a lot of these providers and enter the username and password into Exodus?
Would love any help you anyone knows what could be going on. Lambda, first of all, Point Break (2015) has the links to Point break from 1993. Second, the exodus addon sucks pretty much. Genesis fork now taking care by Specto is working much much better then you ever do it. I’m glad you abandoned the Genesis addon, because you’ve developing so irritated when everyone telling you isn’t working, and you calling all lyiers. The prove is here, the Genesis-Specto is working excellent now, and youre so called new addon Exodus isn’t.
Go other places and do what you can do, add-ons isn’t youre speciality. Pls restore the basic “Favorites” capability that Genesis had and is pretty much standard across all video add-ons. Personally I really do NOT want to create andother online account, share my email (more spam, anyone? Threats from content providers?) and log my video interests on some internet account that can be scanned/mined/tracked for marketing/copyright/whatever purpose someone might have. Nobody’s business what I watch.
The local “Favorites” was perfect as-is, this online Favorites idea should be optional for people who don’t mind being tracked themselves. By far the most functional add-on I have experienced in KODI.
Most of the links are active where as the other add-ons make you play hide and seek. A Trakt issue however has me flummoxed. When a single episode on a TV series is viewed Eg S1:E1 on a series that has multiple seasons, the entire series is dropped from “Exodus: Trakt: TV Watch List” While this action makes sense for a Movie, I don’t understand why it would apply to a multi-episode TV Series. Trakt’s support, while very prompt, tossed the ball back to Exodus.
Any thoughts? Version 1.1 – Thanks for the update Lambda, I wish I could tell you directly that you are a God among Men.
I have much respect for all developers that go through the painstaking process of creating and maintaining what you all do. Thanks for all your hard work.
While it may not seem so by reading the comments when something isn’t working, your work does not go unappreciated by MOST of the community. I use Exodus.when it’s not working, I use something else until the developer (Lambda in this case) has an opportunity to fix it. If you’re scared of using Trakt.don’t use it, no one is forcing you to. But with it, most of the top addons work incredibly well.even when they are down. For me, it is a much better option than Library Integration and downloading. Thanks again Lambda and KodiTips for keeping us informed.
First of all – kudos to lambda for superb work! Now for the problem I’m having with Exodus. Most of the time it runs faultlessly BUT every now and then when I’m starting a new episode the sound starts but not the video – this only lasts for a few seconds until TVMC freezes up and nothing I do can free it. I’ve tried killing it with task manager and with killing the TVMC process using both task manager and task killer but neither work.
I can’t even shut down or restart my pc – it just hangs. So in the end I have to pull the power to shut it down and reboot! Meh, Trekt is a pain, particularly with openelec. So without library functionality Exodus will be relegated to Movies only. Bummer, I loved Genesis paired with LazyTV. Made cutting the core painless. Oh well, Guess its back to 1Channel until I find a decent replacement (since they decided to kill Genesis for this purposely gimped version).
There seemed to be some behind the scenes drama that prompted all of this, which stinks because in the end its the users who had no part in it that pay the price.
In this tutorial, I will guide you through the detailed and simple process to install Exodus Redux Addon on Kodi. The method outlined here works on Amazon FireStick / Fire TV/ Fire TV Cube, Android & iOS Mobile Devices, Windows & Mac Computers, Android TV & Boxes, and all other hardware and software platforms on which Kodi is supported. Exodus Redux is a new Kodi addon that gives you access to tons of movies and shows. It looks a lot like the very popular and even has the same logo. But, after having used both I have drawn some comparisons and believe Exodus Redux is better than Exodus.
The older Exodus addon has been abandoned by its developers. I haven’t seen any new updates or developments in several months. It is still the most widely used addon probably because it was once very popular and continues to be frequently talked about in various Kodi communities. Exodus Redux, on the other hand, is backed by a solid team of developers, gets regular updates, and the content library is also frequently updated as soon as new videos are available. This addon employs the most powerful and effective scrapers – Lambda Scrapers – that I have known.
I have heard a lot of people calling it the fork of and it probably is. But, it looks and feels a great deal like Exodus.
It also serves as a suitable replacement to Exodus, which has been riding on its past glory for too long. If you are looking for a Kodi addon that gets you the highest-quality streams, has a superb collection of content, is fast and reliable, go ahead and give Exodus Redux Kodi addon a try. How to Install Exodus Redux on Kodi 17.6 Before we start the installation process, one important thing to note is that Exodus Redux Kodi addon is not the part of the official Kodi Add-on Repository. That’s why it is called a third-party addon. And, when you want to install such an addon, you must have the Unknown Sources within Kodi switched on. This is how you do it: #1.
Open the Settings option when you are on the Kodi home-screen (top-left) and then go to System Settings on the screen that follows #2. Select/highlight Add-ons on the list of the options on the left sidebar. Now navigate to the right of the same window and enable Unknown Sources #3. Click Yes on the following warning message.
Don’t worry about the warning. Exodus Redux is a safe Kodi addon. Attention: Kodi Addons bring unlimited streaming content, but could also get you in a legal trouble. Kodi users must use a VPN to hide their identity while streaming movies / TV Shows / Sports. Moreover, many popular Addons are geo-blocked and will require a VPN to work.
I personally use and recommend which is the. You can get 3-months free and save 49% on its annual plans. Let me now guide you through the installation steps. There are two ways to get the Exodus Redux Addon.
I will show you both the methods one-by-one. The process is simple. All you need to do is follow each step carefully. Exodus was working fine for me this morning. I was trying to install some other things and ran into issues, so I did a fresh install of Kodi Krypton and went through the guide to re add Exodus.
It says it installs from the zip but when I do install from repository step it says ‘The dependency on script.module.metahandler version’ (then cuts off. So nothing shows up in my addons.
I’ve did the tricks like downloading the dependencies, clear cache, I’ve even uninstalled/reinstalled Kodi 3 times. Any ideas, I’d areciate any help. Hey Melbin, I have just checked the addon and it is working fine with me. Is it happening with just some specific shows? If that is the case, it is possible that those shows aren’t available with the Addon. But if you are facing this issue for all the shows, try following – 1.
Make sure you selected Lambda scrapers and enabled all the providers under Lambda scapers settings. (Follow the guide above) 2.
Clear Providers by going to Tools Exodus Redux: Clear Providers. Exit Kodi and restart it. Now try playing again.
If the above instructions don’t help, I am afraid you need to reset your Kodi and reinstall the Exodus Redux.
